Penelope Soto is very sorry - and, as a result, she will not be spending 30 days behind bars.
The 18-year old became a viral sensation last week after she laughed in the face of a Miami-Dade judge prior to flipping him off, a gesture which earned Soto a month-long prison sentence.
But Soto, who was initially arrested for possession of Xanax, shed tears in court yesterday when acknowledging her mistake and agreeing to treatment for drug addiction.
In response, as you can witness in this video, the judge dropped his contempt of court charge and vacated her jail term.
